Palace linked with Bluebirds star
Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis is considering bringing Mark Hudson back to the club to sure up the Eagles defence.
The 31-year-old played for the Eagles between 2004 and 2008 before joining the Bluebirds, who he skippered to promotion from the Championship last season.
Hudson has struggled for action this season following the £8.5million arrival of Steven Caulker from Tottenham and Pulis could offer him the chance of a route away.
As well as adding goals to his side, Pulis is well aware that Palace have the fourth worst defensive record in the Premier League and is keen to plug the gaps.
Cardiff still see Hudson as a key squad player and Bluebirds boss Malkay Mackay will be reluctant to let him go before drafting in a replacement first.
