Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho spent a fair bit of money over the summer but is unlikely to be all that happy with how the current campaign has started and it’s perhaps very likely that the Portuguese manager will look to spend in January.

The Independent claim that the West London club are not only ready to make a £50m move for AS Monaco ace Radmael Falcao but they are also ready to offer the same amount to Juventus for their young midfielder Paul Pogba.
Mourinho will certainly look to address his poor strike-force when the transfer window re-opens and there is growing speculation that Colombian Falcao is not all that happy with life at Ligue 1 big spenders AS Monaco.
The former FC Porto and Atletico Madrid man is said to be unhappy at the lack of atmosphere at home matches at the Stade Louis II as well as the general quality of football he is being exposed to, which would perhaps explain his excellent return of nine goals in 14 matches.
Given that Chelsea’s current quartet of strikers, Samuel Eto’o, Andre Schurrle, Demba Ba, Fernando Torres, have scored just four Premier League goals between them this season a move for a new striking option in January seems inevitable.
