Seeing double! Manchester United's Keane twins head out on loan

Manchester United defender Michael Keane has joined Derby County on loan until January.

The 20-year-old centre-back has made three Capital One Cup appearances for the Premier League champions and also had a loan spell with Leicester City last season.
United have allowed the England Under 21 international to join the Rams in a deal that lasts until January 2.

Meanwhile, Keane's brother, Will, has signed on loan for Wigan Athletic - and the pair could come face-to-face at the DW Stadium on Sunday when the Latics take on Derby in a Championship fixture.

 

Keane hooks up with former Old Trafford coach Steve McClaren at Pride Park, who fought off competition for his services.

Meanwhile, Keane's twin brother Will has signed for Wigan Athletic and could come face-to-face with his sibling when the Latics take on Derby in a Championship fixture on Sunday.


United have also allowed Welsh forward Tom Lawrence to join League One outfit Carlisle United until January 4.
