Tennis: Fans get incentives at Governor’s Cup

Fans at the ongoing Governor’s Cup Lagos Tennis have been promised incentives by the organisers.

The Local Organising Committee in conjunction with some sponsors of the tournament, have decided to reward fans at the Lagos Lawn Tennis Club, Onikan, from Sunday to Friday with Gionee smart phones, products of Lifemate Furnitures, Etisalat phones and recharge cards.

 

“Spectators are expected to pick up free entry ticket booklets at the gate of the Lagos Lawn Tennis Club and other designated distribution points.

“On every match day, fans will present their ticket copies at the gate, where these would be stamped and automatically numbered, enabling records of appearances on a data base. Detached stumps will be used for the draws,” said Wale Oladunjoye, the Tournament Director.

“If any spectator comes for three match days, such person will be given an invite to watch the final, where Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola will be Special Guest of Honour.”
