Chukwu, Okoronkwo hail Milo clinic
Former
Super Eagles coach Christian Chukwu, ex-Enugu Rangers player Stanley
Okoronkwo, Akeem Ashiru and Nollywood star Diwait Ikpechukwu were among
the personalities that witnessed the Enugu leg of the Nestlé Milo
Football clinic at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu on Saturday.
Chukwu, who praised Nestle Milo for
the clinic being anchored by ex-Eagles goalkeeper Peter Rufai, urged
the participants to take it seriously.
He said, “We never had any opportunity
like this in our days. You people are lucky and should be grateful to
Nestle Milo for this wonderful and scientific football training. You
are also lucky to have a legend like Rufai training you.”
Okoronkwo, Ashiru and Diewait also commended the efforts of the beverage company.
“This is how to raise future world champions,” Diewait said.
Enugu Regional Sales and Performance
Development Manager of the company, Chibuzor Ogunka, said the clinic
was designed not only to coach the children but also to equip and
teach them the core values of life.
