Liverpool prepare January bid for Tottenham midfielder Sigurdsson

Liverpool are eyeing Tottenham midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson.
The Liverpool Echo says Liverpool are believed to be weighing up a January move for Sigurdsson during the January transfer window.

The Icelandic international has not managed to show his best form during his time at White Hart Lane that prompted the club to sign him permanently after impressing during a loan spell from Swansea City in the second half of the 2011-12 season, and has since struggled to hold down a regular spot in the starting XI.
