Luis Suarez to captain Liverpool
LUIS SUAREZ is in line to captain Liverpool at Tottenham tomorrow.
Suarez (below) would seem to be an unlikely choice with his chequered history.
His brilliant displays have been marred by some appalling behaviour on and off the pitch.
Ready When asked if Suarez could rise to the challenge, boss Brendan Rodgers replied: "Yes - absolutely. He is 150 per cent ready.

decision is."
Suarez is top scorer " Suarez is top scorer in the Premier League with 1 Turn to Page 56 goals, despite missing the first five games while banned for biting Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic.
In 2011 he was found guilty by the FA of racially abusing Manchester United's Patrice Evra and this summer he tried and failed to get a move away from Anfield.
Despite all that his goals mean he remains a favourite with the Kop.
Meanwhile, Rodgers is confident Liverpool can mount a serious title challenge. Tomorrow's game is the first of three tough trips before the end of December, with Manchester City and Chelsea to come.“We know the difficulty of the games, but this is a team that works really hard”Brendan Rodgers
He said: "We will be at the halfway point after those games and in the second half of the season we have a lot of big games to play at home.
"We're comfortable at home. The idea is to get to the halfway point and be in contention.
"We know the difficulty of the games, but this is a team that works really hard."7
Despite Gerrard and Daniel Sturridge both missing, Rodgers insists his squad is strong enough.
He said: "We have a lot of talented players still available and we have to come to the fore as a team and show that we can be the best.
"We have three tough away games coming, but you can look at it the other way. It could be a great moment for us.
"We will go to Spurs and be competitive. That's all we can ask. It has been difficult for them at home at times this season."
