Davide Petrucci (Royal Antwerp) - Petrucci started on the bench for Royal Antwerp as they took on ASV Geel. He came on in the 54th minute just after Antwerp conceded their first goal. Soon after his introduction, Geel doubled their lead so Petrucci set about helping his team get back into the game.

He set up Mombongo for a volley but his shot went wide. Petrucci then had a shot but it was saved by Geel’s goalkeeper. Fortunately, Antwerp were able to score two late goals and drew the game 2-2.
Nick Powell (Wigan Athletic) - Powell played the full match in Wigan’s 3-2 win over Bolton Wanderers. Wigan piled on the pressure from the start. Powell had the first clear cut chance of the match with a header from the centre of the box which went high but they soon took the lead from the penalty spot after a handball in the area from Matt Mills.

Powell tried to double the lead with a long range effort but his shot went wide. When he did double the lead, it was with a fantastic bicycle kick which looped over Andy Lonergan in the Bolton goal. He wasn’t content with just one goal and went in search of another. Minutes later he had a long range right-footed shot saved. Around 15 minutes from time, Powell also had a header that went wide. He was shown a yellow card for a bad foul in the fifth minute of added time.

Will Keane (Wigan Athletic) - Will was an unused substitute in Wigan’s 3-2 win over Bolton. However, Will did get 45 minutes in a Under-21 friendly against Southport.
Bébé (Paços de Ferreira) - Bébé started on the bench for Paços as they took on Pandurii in their final group game in the Europa League. He came on in the 73rd minute as Paços played out a 0-0 draw which meant they finished third in Group E.

Bébé was on the bench again as Paços took on Nacional. He came on in the 65th minute when he replaced Hurtado. At that time, the Beavers were trailing 2-1 and Bébé was unable to help his team get back into the match. The game ended 2-1.
Jonny Sutherland (Bolton Wanderers Under-21s) - Sutherland was an unused substitute at Bolton’s Under-21s were thrashed 5-0 by Chelsea.
