Have some faith in United boss, says Paul Lambert

PAUL LAMBERT bids to pile the pressure on David Moyes tomorrow, saying no sane person in the country would have turned down the Manchester United job.

Moyes is feeling the heat since taking over from Sir Alex Ferguson and goes into the pressure cooker again at Villa Park.
Lambert insists Moyes will get it right and says not a single manager would have snubbed the Old Trafford hot seat.

Villa have beaten Arsenal and Manchester City already this season and came within a whisker of adding Chelsea to the list.
Now they have United in their sights, with Lambert desperate to turn the heat up on Moyes.
Lambert said: "Who would refuse that job? I'd like to meet the person who would have done.

"It's a great club, with great players. You'd need to be cuckoo to turn that one down.
"Things haven't gone great but David will know how to handle it. I think a lot of people are jumping on the bandwagon and saying they are a spent force."

Victory for Lambert's side tomorrow would put them level on points with the champions.
He added: "My players have the belief they can do it. We know if we can get on the front foot early on we'll give them a game."
