ARSENE WENGER last night claimed Jose Mourinho went overboard with his wild goal celebration on Sunday.

It angered rival boss Manuel Pellegrini, but Mourinho later claimed he was trying to embrace his son in the East Stand.

Wenger added further spice to tonight's Capital One Cup clash with Mourinho's Chelsea by saying the result may influence the title race.
The second-placed Blues trail the league leaders by two points, while Arsenal are top.

"People will look at you, how you behave and whether you can win the big games. That has a certain psychological influence on the team. We haven't won the title for a few years and people question that now.

Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner will have another chance tonight to prove he has an Arsenal future.
