Begovic sure of World Cup success

Bosnia and Herzegovina goalkeeper Asmir Begovic is confident he and his team-mates will enjoy a successful World Cup campaign next summer.
The Bosnians will feature in their first ever major tournament in Brazil, having qualified for the Samba showpiece as European Group G winners.

Now Stoke City’s Begovic – rated as one of the finest ‘keepers in the Premier League – has insisted he and his countrymen will leave their mark on football’s most prestigious competition in 2014.
He told SportSport: "Our success is already guaranteed with a trip to Brazil.

"But believe me, we're not going there for recreational purposes, we are going to play, to fight for our country and we will try to achieve the best possible result.
"I hope everybody will be fit for the World Cup. If so, then everything will be possible in Brazil."
