Vidal injury boost for Juventus

Vidal injury boost for Juventus

The Bianconeri have announced that the adductor strain the Chile international picked up at the weekend will only rule him out of action for between seven and eight days
Juventus have been boosted by the news that midfielder Arturo Vidal will not miss any games with the thigh injury he sustained against Napoli on Sunday night.

The Chilean left the field with just four minutes to go in the 3-0 win in Turin and it was subsequently revealed that the 26-year-old had strained an adductor muscle.

However, the Bianconeri have now announced that Vidal has been given the all-clear to link up with his country, who play England and Brazil during the international break.

"Vidal, who left the action early last night against Napoli due to an injury, has been prescribed seven to eight days of rest," a club statement read.

"He is still set to join up with the Chile squad, barring a decision to the contrary by the Chilean Football Federation (FFC)."

Juventus do not play again until November 24, when they take on Livorno.
