Tim Cahill eager to come back to the Premier League

TIM CAHILL wants a return to the Premier League on a short-term loan while the MLS season is over.

The former Everton star, 33, currently plays for New York Red Bulls but he is free to make a move in order to keep himself in shape.

And Cahill is weighing up a return to England until the MLS kicks off again in March.
Spell Sunderland, Fulham, Everton and Championship outfit QPR will all be in the hunt to land the Australian in January.

The midfielder wants to maintain his fitness ahead of next year's World Cup.
He said: "The move depends on getting my body right. But the plan is for the World Cup."
