Man Utd: Striker set for Portugal return
The forward – signed by boss Sir Alex Ferguson for a fee of £7.4 million in 2010 – has never started a Premier League game for the Old Trafford club and was shipped out on loan to Pacos de Ferreira in September.
He has since scored once and assisted two other goals for the Portuguese side, who are currently rock-bottom of the Primeira Liga.
However, the 23-year-old dislocated his shoulder at the beginning of November in a 0-0 draw with Arouca and was subsequently ruled out a number of weeks.
But he has now stepped up his recovery, according to Portuguese publication A Bola, and could return for this weekend’s clash with mid-table Belenenses.
Bebe recently admitted he struggled to understand the accent of Ferguson during his time with the United first-team and it remains to be seen if he will feature in new boss David Moyes’ future plans.
