Borussia Dortmund to Make Move for Arsenal Forward Lukas Podolski as Replacement for Exit Bound Robert Lewandowski

Borussia Dortmund are ready to make a move for Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski as Jurgen Klopp prepares for life without Robert Lewandowski.

Sports Direct News claim that the Bundesliga side see 28 year old German Podolski as the ideal man to fill the void when Lewandowski inevitably leaves the club when his contract comes to an end next summer.


Podolski has been out of action with a hamstring injury since August but is expected to return in a matter of weeks and no doubt Klopp will monitor his progress leading up to the January transfer window.

This source claims that Arsenal may well listen to offers of around £10m for Podolski, who netted 16 goals in his debut season at the North London club and the Gunners are currently sizing up striking targets of their own so could well be ready to consider a bid for the former Koln and Bayern Munich man.
