We’ll attack in Freetown – Falconents coach
Falconets
coach Peter Dedevbo says the team will aim for another convincing
victory over Sierra Leone in Saturday’s 2014 FIFA Under-20 Women’s
World Cup qualifying reverse fixture in Freetown.
Nigeria won the first leg 10-0 at the Abuja Stadium a fortnight ago and Dedevbo is targeting more goals.
The aggregate winners of the qualifying
fixtures will face the winners of the Morocco versus Tunisia tie in
the next stage of the qualifiers.
“We’re going to Freetown to record
another convincing victory. In fact, the first leg victory is history as
we’re going to confront them as if the first leg had not been played,”
supersport.com quoted Dedevbo as saying during the week.
“The girls are in high spirits and think the win in Abuja has boosted their confidence and they’re raring to go.
“Sierra Leone are not a bad side only
that their game plan failed them coupled with the fact that they met
superior opponents.
“We know they’ll come out to give us
tough fight with the faint hope to upturn the table but we won’t allow
them to have their way as we’re not only determined to win but to
qualify Nigeria for the World Cup proper in Canada next year.
“So we’re prepared to take anything they’ll throw at us as far as we come out of the encounter unscathed.”
