Shinji Kagawa wants to quit Man United in January according to The People.
The 24 year old Japanese international has struggled to make ab impact at Old Trafford since moving to the club 18 months ago and is now certainly little more than a bit part player at the Premier League club.
Kagawa is concerned that a lack of first team action could affect his form going into next summer’s World Cup finals and there is reported interest from Bundesliga pair Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg.
The midfielder has started just two Premier League games this season and the emergence of youngster Adnan Januzaj has provided another obstacle to his chances of a place in David Moyes’s plans.
Man United paid £17m for Kagawa in June 2012 and he may well be available for a lot less if Moyes looks to make space for potential January additions.
Kagawa may have hoped that his first team chances would have improved under new management but that has not proven the case. The Kobe born flair player made 26 appearances in all competitions last term, scoring six and providing five assists in the process
