Frank Sinclair: I was right to abandon match
FRANK SINCLAIR has defended himself after forcing an FA Trophy tie to be abandoned with seven minutes to play.
There was no fourth official. Although the linesman could have refereed Colwyn Bay rejected the offer of a replacement from the crowd to run the line amid suspicions that he had been drinking.
An offer from Robins coach Ian Senior was also rejected.
"You can't just have any Tom, Dick or Harry come in and finish the last 10 minutes of the game," said ex-Chelsea star Sinclair.
