Celtic complete deal for striker Holmbert Fridjonsson

Celtic have signed Iceland Under-21 international striker Holmbert Fridjonsson from Fram Reykjavik on a pre-contract agreement. 

The 20-year-old has signed a four-year deal and will join the club on 1 January, 2014.
"I'm really delighted to sign for such a big club like Celtic and it's just a dream come true," he told Celtic's website.
"It's unbelievable to be here, I can't wait to get started."

Speaking last week, Celtic manager Neil Lennon said Fridjonsson was a player with "very good potential".
"He is a good player for his age, a good size, we had him in for a week's trial and were hugely impressed by him. He is one for the present," said Lennon.

"Technically, he is very good, he is excellent in the air, he leads the line very well and, for the Scottish game, he likes the physical side of thing as well."
