Andre Schurrle's goal Blues for Frank Lampard
ANDRE Schurrle will stoke the fires of another
expected biting England-Germany tussle by asking his Chelsea team-mate
Frank Lampard about “the goal that never was”.
Germany international Schurrle was all smiles
after helping Chelsea beat Schalke in the Champions League at Stamford
Bridge on Wednesday.
And he could not resist looking ahead to playing at Wembley on November 19.
Schurrle, 23, said: “England v Germany is never a friendly. Never. We want to win.”“Nightmare for you, yeah, I haven’t spoken to Frank Lampard about it yet but maybe I will tomorrow”

England’s last game against their old foe was a 4-1 hammering during the World Cup. But it could have been so different if Lampard hadn’t been denied a goal with the scores level. The ball was over the line but the officials ruled out a goal.
Schurrle scored a debut hat-trick in 19 minutes playing for Germany against Sweden last month to help them come from 2-0 down to 5-3 winners.
But he says English football beats Germany in one respect – fan noise.
He said: “I love it here. In Germany, you do get noise but normally from one part of the stadium. Here, it’s everywhere.”
