Jose Mourinho feels the joke is on Chelsea

JOSE Mourinho claims the Premier League are having a big laugh at Chelsea’s expense.

The Blues boss is fuming and reckons match planners have conspired to leave his team in a fix and given their title rivals a big boost.

Mourinho hit out yesterday at his side having to face West Brom at home today, just three days after their Champions League victory over Schalke.
He pointed out the other top-flight teams who played in Europe this week have had it easy.

Manchester United and Manchester City play tomorrow, giving them a five-day rest since their European matches.

While Arsenal – who are at Old Trafford in the big game of the weekend – will have had four days to recover from their impressive midweek win over Borussia Dortmund.
“We’re the only team that plays on Wednesday and Saturday – I think they laugh,” said Mourinho of fixture planners.

The Portuguese boss was also raging last month after his men had to face the Gunners in the Capital One Cup, just two days after taking on Manchester City in the league.

He added: “Once more we’re really special and our game against West Brom becomes the Special Saturday, not Special Sunday! It’s happening a lot with us.
“We had to play Arsenal when we did, now this.

“The people who decide the fixtures know what they can do and laugh, because I can do nothing.”
Then, with heavy sarcasm, Mourinho added: “It is good because I think Big Sam (Allardyce) will be very upset because we have 16 days to prepare for West Ham, instead of 15!”

Their game at West Ham is, in fact, a fortnight away, but Mourinho is unlikely to be happy it is scheduled for 5.30pm on a Saturday, with Chelsea then flying to Basel for a key Champions League game on the following Tuesday.
