Manchester United brace for Shinji Kagawa bid
MANCHESTER UNITED are bracing themselves for a fresh bid for midfield ace Shinji Kagawa.
Kagawa was substituted at half-time during Saturday's 2-1 loss to West Brom and warmed the bench during United's Champions League clash against Shakhtar Donetsk.
And fresh reports in Europe now claim old club Borussia Dortmund will make a fresh offer in their bid to bring a club fan favourite back to the club.
Kagawa has found himself surplus to requirements during his injury plagued tenure with the Old Trafford side and knows he'd be welcomed back with open arms by the Bundesliga outfit.
Dortmund fans have been busy trying to convince their former star to leave United, launching a massive Twitter campaign, entitled 'Free Shinji' last month.“I need to improve more and more, or I cannot survive at this club”Manchester United ace Shinji Kagawa
The group got the hashtag #FreeShinji trending on Twitter in Germany, after his debut season with United was hampered by injuries.
Kagawa recently acknowledged that he needs to make a greater impact if he is to remain with the champions.
He said: "I have to take this like some kind of message (from the manager).
"I need to improve more and more, or I cannot survive at this club."
