Man Utd: Juve & Real after Januzaj’s signature
The midfielder started his career with Belgian club Anderlecht but made the switch to England in 2011 after impressing at a skills session in Brussels at the age of 16.
The 18-year-old made his first start for the Premier League champions at the weekend, scoring twice to help his side come back from a goal down to beat Sunderland 2-1 at the Stadium of Light.
Despite the midfielder being rated as one of the hottest prospects at United, the Manchester club have so far been unable to tie the 18-year down to a long-term contract at Old Trafford.
Januzaj’s current deal with United expires at the end of the season and it is expected the club will offer him a new contract in order to avoid him leaving on a free in the summer.
However, Juventus, who took Paul Pogba from United on a free transfer last summer, are big admirers of the 18-year-old and are doing their best to convince the midfielder his future belongs in Italy.
La Liga giants Real Madrid are also nterested in the youngster’s signature, a source in Spain has told SportsDirect News, whilst Manchester City are allegedly keeping tabs on the playmaker.
But new United boss David Moyes is determined to keep the midfielder in Manchester and hopes Januzaj will repay the faith his manager has show in him by committing his future to the Premier League champions in the near future.
