Man City: Aguero returns for Bayern clash

Sergio Aguero will make his Manchester City comeback in the Champions League clash with Bayern Munich on Wednesday evening.

The Argentina star missed City’s 3-2 defeat to Aston Villa at the weekend through injury, but has been named in Manuel Pellegrini’s starting XI for the European fixture.

Edin Dzeko, ousting Alvaro Negredo, starts alongside the Argentine, while Micah Richards starts at right-back ahead of Pablo Zabaleta.

For Bayern, Mario Gotze does not make the XI, though Uefa’s current Best Player in Europe, Franck Ribery, starts.

City XI: Hart, Richards, Kompany (C), Nastasic, Clichy, Toure, Fernandinho, Navas, Nasri, Aguero, Dzeko
