Javier Hernandez sends a message that all United fans wanted to hear
Hernandez
The 25-year-old has remained a real threat from the bench even with his lack of minutes, something he showed with three goals in two appearances this week and it looks like even the burgeoning relationship between Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie won’t change his thought process when it comes to United.
“No matter what happens, I will never tire of trying,” he said on his Twitter account.
Hernandez has suffered at the hands of Rooney and Persie because they are playing so well together but he hasn’t let it affect his attitude in training or his outlook on games then they happen. His forever optimistic mindset has still not faltered.
The prolific goalscorer has also been dropped for Mexico’s World Cup qualifier player due to the long travelling distances and because he is banned for the first game anyway, so he is having a rough time of it with club and country right now but he isn’t letting it affect him.
Every good attacking side does not solely relate on two main strikers’ over the course of the season. United didn’t in 2008 or 1999 and in 2013, we have four strikers who all know their place in the side – Hernandez is a major part of that.
Keeping Hernandez happy was one of the biggest shortfalls of the Rooney and Van Persie partnership but so long as his attitude remains the same, Chicharito will continue to get minutes as and when at Old Trafford.
