Schalke 04 v Chelsea

Branislav Ivanovic has urged Chelsea to maintain their march towards top spot when they return from the international break.

Chelsea moved up to third place in the Premier League, two points behind leaders Arsenal, after securing their first league away win of the season at Norwich.

Following the two-week hiatus, Chelsea will play seven games in 21 days, beginning with Cardiff, Schalke and Manchester City.

"When we're back from the national team we have the very tight schedule of games," said Ivanovic.
"I think we have to work very hard to be top, and use all the squad for these kind of games that are coming up for us.

"I think we are (heading) in the right way."
Chelsea suffered a surprise defeat at Everton last month, while title rivals Manchester United and Manchester City have also dropped points and Ivanovic insists the Blues must pick up points when they are not playing well.

"This year is going to be a very tough, a very difficult league," said the Serbia defender.
"Every team will have a bad period and a good period. The important thing is in the bad period to take the points, and to stay (in contention).

"Arsenal are doing well at the moment, but the season is a long one."

Samuel Eto'o and Willian have been eased into the first-team after moves from Anzhi Makhachkala and the latter gave a glimpse of his talent with a stunning third goal at Carrow Road.

Ivanovic is confident the duo will make a big impact for the Blues during the season.
"Both guys add fantastic quality," he said.

"Willian showed he can improve and he can impress all the guys more, and we expect from him a lot. His goal is very important for him for confidence and for motivation.

"Eto'o is a guy who is still new in our team, in our squad, and we have tried to help him to settle as quickly as possible."
