Arsenal have ended their interest in signing Chelsea striker Demba Ba on loan, report Sky sources.
The Gunners were looking to the Senegal international to provide them with some depth up front, with Tottenham also reportedly considering a season-long loan move for him.

While Spurs remain in the hunt to sign Ba, Arsenal's interest appears to have cooled and there are reports that Chelsea are not keen to have him playing for a team they see as a threat in the Premier League table.

The Blues are looking for a £3m loan fee for Ba, who has scored six goals since his arrival at the club in the January transfer window.

There has been plenty of interest from elsewhere in the 28-year-old striker, who has been linked with a return to West Ham, and been targeted by Napoli and Valencia as well.
