David De Gea: Wilfried Zaha will improve
MANCHESTER UNITED keeper David De Gea says it
could be three years before Wilfried Zaha is good enough to take the
Premier League by storm.
Winger Zaha was Sir Alex Ferguson’s last signing as Manchester United manager when he joined from Crystal Palace for £15million.
The youngster, 20, was expected to be a major player for David Moyes’ men this term.
But after starting in the 2-0 Community Shield win over Wigan, Zaha has disappeared from the first-team picture at OId Trafford.
De Gea said: “He’s still young but you can tell he’s a top player.“In the next two or three years I think he’s going to develop into an excellent player”David De Gea
“He has areas of his game that he needs to work on and things he has to learn.
“In the next two or three years I think he’s going to develop into an excellent player. He can do it all.”
