Rafa Benitez insists he did a 'good job' at Chelsea as he brings his Napoli side to London to face Arsenal
The Spaniard said he met his targets at Stamford Bridge and that he was 'pleased' with his spell in charge
Napoli boss Rafa Benitez says he has nothing to prove to English football.
The ex-Liverpool and Chelsea boss brings his Serie A
side to London tonight for a Champions League clash against high-flying
Arsenal at the Emirates.
The Spaniard left Stamford Bridge in the summer after seven months as interim manager, during which time he won the Europa League.
Reflecting on his time at the club, Benitez said: "I am pleased, because we won.
"We finished in the top three, which was the target and won the Europa League.
"The majority of professionals and the people who
followed the team every day could see that we were trying to do our best
and we did a good job in the end."
He added: "After 26 years of coaching around the world,
you have to adapt and you have to enjoy it when you have an opportunity
to manage at a team like Napoli in the Champions League and challenging
for the Serie A title."
