Barcelona president Rosell leaves door open to new bid for Chelsea's Luiz

Barcelona president Sandro Rosell admits they made an attempt for Chelsea defender David Luiz over the summer.


Rosell has admitted the club will re-evaluate a bid for Luiz in January adding the 26-year-old's fee and wages were also a factor in the breakdown of the deal.

He told TV3: "Barcelona should not pay more than what the coach thinks is the right price for the salary. we did not recruit David Luiz because of a technical decision.
"But we will see what happens in January."
