Mourinho will watch former Chelsea fringe player Matic as midfielder plays for Serbia

Jose Mourinho is due to watch Benfica midfielder Nemanja Matic in Friday's international between Serbia and Croatia.
Mourinho's friend, Serbia U19 manager Ljubinko Drulovic, said: 'It is another reason for the players to show what they are worth.'

Matic, 25, left Chelsea in 2011 as part of the deal that brought David Luiz to Stamford Bridge.


Benfica boss Jorge Jesus conceded in July that the 24-year-old could be set to leave the club but, the Portuguese club managed to hold on to him during the summer.
Matic was a fringe player at Stamford Bridge but has progressed rapidly over the past couple of seasons and his signature is now one of the most coveted in Europe.
