WITH Manchester United being linked with pretty much everyone and Chelsea chasing giants, Rumour Mill asks would you prefer Swansea or New York?
MORE FOR MOYES
If you see David Moyes doing his Christmas shopping, he probably has a list the size of the Dead Sea Scrolls and spends hours flicking from shelf to shelf trying to decide what to buy. Manchester United is being linked with practically every player to kick a ball at the moment - but AC Milan defender Cristian Zapata says he knows nothing about it.
United assistant coach Phil Neville recently flew to Italy to watch the Colombia international, according to The Mirror, as potential back-up for the creaking Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic. But Zapata is the very image of a poker face: "I do not know anything it," he told Italian TV. "I am just thinking about Milan."

Moyes might have more luck with Borussia Dortmund's attacking midfielder Marco Reus, according to The Daily Mail, which says with some confidence that the $55m-rated German is unhappy with Dortmund's recent loss of form under hipster coach Jurgen Klopp.

And transfer Romeo Moyes isn't stopping there. Apparently he is also putting out the vibe to Porto left-back Sandro, after giving up on Leighton Baines as a replacement for Patrice Evra, says TalkSPORT.

REDS' REALITY CHEQUE
After years of dreaming of regaining past glories, no club has mastered the art of kidding themselves like Liverpool. The Telegraph says the Reds are now trying to convince themselves that the unstoppable Luis Suarez won't be signing for Real Madrid in the European summer by offering the Uruguayan a massive new contract to keep him at Anfield.
Ian Ayre, Liverpool's managing director, met Pere Guardiola - the brother of Bayern Munich manager Pep - in Catalonia yesterday to talk about Suarez extending and improving his terms on his current contract, which runs to 2016. And how much do Brendan Rodgers and co believe would it take to turn down the Bernabau? A whopping $230,000 every week.

JOLLY BLUE GIANT
With David Luiz being constantly teased and tempted by Barcelona, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is on the lookout for a new big man at the back - at that man, according to The Express, is 6ft 5in Italy defender Andrea Ranocchia.
The towering 25-year-old is said to be frustrated with his lack of chances at Inter Milan and thinks a switch to Stamford Bridge could boost his World Cup chances.
Meanwhile, yesterday we told you that Inter midfielder Fredy Guarin was on his way to Manchester United. We lied. Sorry about that. Today he's going to Chelsea and the deal is all but done, according to The Daily Mail.
A quick $27m in the back pocket and the 27-year-old Colombia international will be freezing his cajones off in the London winter.
Jose could also lighten his bloated midfield somewhat surprisingly by flogging excellent playmaker Eden Hazard to Paris Saint-Germain, TalkSPORT says. Hazard has been a reliable performer for the Blues so far this season, scoring six goals and setting up four assists.

BEST OF THE REST
Much-loved Juventus forward Fabio Quagliarella could give up the high life of Serie A for a mid-table Premiership battle, according to TalkSPORT, with Swansea and Southampton both interested in signing the 30-year-old. But he might instead fancy a move to America and MLS side New York Red Bulls. Hmm, Swansea, Southampton or New York… Jeez, it's a tough one…

Stop the press! Oh yeah, print is dead. OK, stop the internet! Fulham will not be letting their hardly used midfielder Bryan Ruiz leave. Cottagers boss Rene Meulensteen says the Costa Rican still has a part to play. Perhaps in the club's Christmas show.
Even with so many red-hot strikers to choose from, it's a surprise that goal-machine Tottenham have decided to let former England forward Jermaine Defoe go.

The Mirror reports the 31-year-old is the latest Premier League star to cross the Atlantic, and will sign a $160,000-a-week deal with MLS club Toronto, which includes unlimited flights for him and his family and two houses. Rumour Mill wants Jermaine to negotiate its next contract…
Norwich boss Chris Hughton is ready to throw $17m at Spartak Moscow in the hope that they will send Republic of Ireland international winger Aiden McGeady back his way.
