Arsenal have not given up on signing Liverpool striker.
Arsenal have not given up on signing Luis Suarez, according to a report in The Sun.
Well he might. Suarez has scored an incredible 17 goals in 11 Premier League games and contributed eight assists.

It's a prolific strike rate which has made the Uruguayan a sure fire contender for the Player of the Year award already, potentially pipping the Gunners' own Aaron Ramsey.

Arsenal attempted to sign Suarez in the summer, and believed they had triggered his release clause when they bid £40 million plus £1, but the amount meant Liverpool only had to inform him of the bid.

Suarez gave an interview discussing his desperation to play Champions League football, but after knuckling down at Liverpool he now could be in prime position to achieve this with the Reds this season.
However much Arsenal offer Liverpool, even if they bid £80 million, almost twice what they paid for Mesut Ozil, we just cannot see the Reds accepting in any circumstance in January.

If Liverpool miss out on the top four then Suarez' future will be thrown into the air again, but right now they look a far better bet than Manchester United to do so.
Right now there are just two points separating Liverpool and Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table.
Arsenal may be desperate for a new striker, but Liverpool are even more desperate to keep Luis Suarez, and rightly so.
Even at £100 million, should Liverpool still reject a move?
