Ronaldinho Hints At PSG Return
Atletico Mineiro legend Ronaldinho has admitted that even though he is not thinking about the future yet he stated that any player would be lucky to end their career in France with Paris Saint Germain, Sky Sports reports.
The veteran forward still retains a lot of affection for the Parisian club, having spent two happy years there when he joined from Gremio back in 2001.
He is still a firm favourite amongst the club’s supporters and has been impressed with their emergence as a credible and fully fledged threat in European competition recently.
The 33-year-old is quoted as telling Canal+: “PSG lives in my heart, it was my first team in Europe.
“The fans always treated me with more kindness than would be normal, and fans still send me letters.
“They are a very strong team at the moment.”
Ronaldinho departed the club for a successful stint with Barcelona, before heading to Italy with AC Milan and heading back home with Flamengo and Mineiro in 2011.
And though he has declared his happiness at Mineiro he could not rule out the possibility of one final curtain call with the French champions in the near future.
“I am not thinking about the future today, but any player in the world would be happy to finish his career at a big club like PSG,” he said.
