Okocha hails Heineken over UCL bars

Former Super Eagles captain Austin Okocha has commended Heineken for making the UEFA champions League eventful for Nigerian football fans.

Football fans have been having fun watching the Champions League  at Heineken’s  100 premium bars  in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Enugu and Abuja.

Okocha, who  watched  the Arsenal versus Napoli  and  Celtic  versus Barcelona Champions League matches at Rumors Bar GRA, Ikeja  recently, said he was happy with the experience.

 Football fans engaged the Tunisia ’94 Africa Cup of Nations winner during the encounters.

While the star match at the Emirates stadium between Arsenal and Napoli was on, the traffic on @heineken_NG twitter handle was huge as hundreds of Arsenal  fans and other  Champions League followers engaged Okocha all through  online conversations.

“Great game, great atmosphere for Gunners’ fans. It’s been fun hanging out with you fans,”  Okocha tweeted after the match which the London Gunners won 2- 0 with first half goals from Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud.
