Raise the Ba, Arsene: Wenger makes loan bid for Chelsea striker - and also has eyes on PSG forward Pastore
Arsenal have reportedly made a £1.5million loan move for Demba Ba but Chelsea are looking more in the region of £3m.
Ba is a deadline-day target for the Gunners as Arsene Wenger looks to add another striker to his squad before the transfer window closes.
The Gunners have also made an ambitious enquiry concerning Paris St Germain forward Javier Pastore.

Sportsmail revealed earlier on Monday that Arsenal have made an enquiry to the Stamford Bridge hierarchy concerning Ba but it is understood Jose Mourinho is reluctant to let the striker leave for one of their top-four rivals.
Chelsea have had interest from around Europe in the Senegal star and would consider selling permanently for offers in the region of £10m.
Newcastle had made a £1m offer for 28-year-old Ba to return for the season but Roma and Rubin Kazan are also interested while other Premier League sides, such as West Ham, will consider a move if they can sell others.
If Arsenal complete the deal for Mesut Ozil it may well attract more players to move before the end of the transfer window.
Olivier Giroud has scored four goals in five games so far this season, but beyond him, their next option is either Lukas Podolski or Yaya Sanogo.
Nicklas Bendtner appears to be on his way out of the Emirates and Marouane Chamakh has already moved to Crystal Palace.
Chelsea, on the other hand, have too many strikers if anything and with the arrival of Samuel Eto'o, Ba could be sacrificed.
