Manchester United announce Middle East bank sponsorships

The Red Devils have agreed deals with the Commercial Bank of Qatar and Emirates NBD Bank for the organisations to become their official financial services partners

Manchester United have announced two new sponsorship deals for the Middle East region.

The tie-ups with the Commercial Bank of Qatar and Emirates NBD Bank will see the organisations become the club's official financial services partners in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.

"Manchester United is very pleased to be teaming up with both of these prominent banking groups to offer our fans in Qatar and the UAE another way to support their team," Manchester United group managing director Richard Arnold told the club's official website.

“Both CBQ and Emirates NBD have impressed the club with their commitment to corporate social responsibility, sharing many of the same core values as Manchester United."

Both companies will be able to offer bank cards with Red Devils branding as well as a club-themed savings account for the UAE-based company.

Arnold enthused: "Collectively, the club has over a million followers in Qatar and the UAE and we hope that the introduction of the two new partnerships will allow us further to expand the Manchester United family, bringing supporters closer to the team they love."
