Duo battle for Turkey ace

Arsenal and Liverpool are set to battle it out for the signature of Turkish star Hakan Calhanoglu, according to reports.
The 19-year-old forward is earning rave reviews following some outstanding performances for Hamburg in the Bundesliga this week and both clubs will send scouts to watch him in action this week.

Calhanoglu is now a regular in the Hamburg side, but they could struggle to keep hold in January as they sit in midtable and have little chance of making the Champions League.

Arsene Wenger and Brendan Rodgers both like young players with attacking flair and it comes as no surprise to see them tracking Calhanoglu, who has also just won his first cap for Turkey.
