City to break bank for keeper
Manchester City could be ready to break the bank to land Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
Despite his denials City boss Manuel Pellegrini is keen to bring in a new goalkeeper in the January transfer window and could turn his attentions towards Neuer.
The 27-year-old will be in no rush to leave the European Champions but City hope wages in the region of £105,000 a week could tempt him to the Etihad Stadium.
City would also have to pay Bayern £40million to secure his services as he is under contract until June 2016, but Pellegrini is determined to land a world-class keeper and will be willing to pay it.
