Arsenal free agent option Diego reveals salary demands, tempting?
Potential Arsenal signing Diego's wage demands have been revealed.
Talk Arsenal could sign former Brazilian sensation Diego surfaced at the end of last month, after he revealed he would welcome a transfer to the Gunners.

"I know there is interest from Premier League clubs. I have heard one of them is Arsenal."The 28-year-old's contract at Wolfsburg is up at the end of the season, and he appears keen to spread his wings. A former teammate of Mesut Ozil at Werder Bremen, he is exploring his options.
As such Arsenal are not his only option. He is being courted by former side back home in Brazil where he built his reputation, Santos.
German newspaper Bild report however that talks have hit a stumbling block over his wages, even though he is proposing to lower his Wolfsburg salary.
At Wolfsburg he earns €8.2 million per year (£6.86 million). He is proposing to drop it dramatically to €3.72 million per year (£3.11 million).
Santos however are only willing to offer him €2.16 million (£1.81 million), leaving discussions at an impasse.
Providing Diego does not suddenly up his demands, simply because Arsenal are a rich European club, his willingness to lower his annual salary makes him even more tempting.
His demanded £3.11 million per year compares very favourably with Mesut Ozil at Arsenal, who earns £6.8 million per year.
With Ozil an established superstar and Diego full of potential but needing to rebuild and regain his best form, his early requests are more than reasonable.
One more reason for Arsenal to seriously consider pursuing his addition as a free agent to sign for 2014/15.
Would you sign Diego for his proposed salary?
