Ferguson: I chose to sign Bebe for Man Utd over Chelsea's Hazard

Sir Alex Ferguson admits he chose signing Bebe for Manchester United ahead of Chelsea star Eden Hazard.
Ferguson decided to plump for a deal worth £7.8m for Bebe instead, on the recommendation of then-assistant boss Carlos Quieroz.

"With feet like his, Bebe was able to score 20 goals per season," Ferguson told A Bola.

"We saw Hazard, but instead hired Bebe. Who would have bet that would not work?
"It is clear that he had a difficult childhood wandering the streets of Lisbon."
