With Liverpool off to their best start in nearly 20 years, they find themselves in the recently foreign position of having the rest of the league chasing them. The Reds have made poor starts to EPL seasons something of a yearly occurrence, but not this year.
Liverpool is yet to concede and sport a 100 percent record thanks to three match-winning goals from January signing Daniel Sturridge. They've been absent from the Champions League since 2009 and haven't won the league title since 1990, for those keen to look too far forward.

Closing that gap between Liverpool recent league finishes (7th, 8th, 6th and 7th the last four years) and the top four looks to be the goal the Merseyside club could be progressing toward.

For that to happen they need steadfast, impactful performances from a number of its players.
