Caf Playoff Draw: Nigeria Travel to Ethiopia for First-Leg Match.
Only five teams will emerge from the Confederation of African Football zone for the Brazil World Cup next year out of the ten teams that emerged from the preliminary round and are battling for the slot.
The draw held at the Caf Headquarters, Cairo, Egypt, produced five fixtures after seeded teams were paired against the unseeded five teams in pot one and two respectively, creating five two-leg ties with a separate draw used to determine which country plays at home first.
This is how it pans out:
Ivory Coast vs. Senegal
Ethiopia vs. Nigeria
Tunisia vs. Cameroon
Ghana vs. Egypt
Burkina Faso vs. Algeria
The second leg of the final round comes up between November 15 and19.
