The current French champions have been linked with a number of top midfield players from across Europe already with Juventus star Paul Pogba thought to be the club’s prime target.
However, it has emerged that the Italian’s are standing firm over the future of the player and insist that he is going nowhere, and with Javier Pastore likely to make an exit from the Parc des Princes in the new year they will be looking to make a suitable replacement, which has prompted them to take a closer look at the former Chelsea man.
The Serbian international has garnered some heavy interest in his services over recent months, with Chelsea, Spurs and Manchester United all thought to be serious contenders to prize him away from the Estadio da Luz.
