The striker, who last year failed to score during a loan spell with West Ham from Arsenal, now tops the statistics as the Premier League’s deadliest marksman after hitting three goals from four shots.
Only a couple of months ago Chamakh was labelled a misfit as he failed to come to terms with life in the Premier League.

But under new manager Tony Pulis he will lead the attack at Chelsea tomorrow.
Pulis said: “If he keeps on scoring he’ll be a massive asset to us. If he managed 10 goals from our next 20 games I would be well pleased. He understands what he has to do – so long as I don’t speak to quickly.”
