West Brom team news: Gera returns to Baggies squad

West Bromwich Albion attacking midfielder Zoltan Gera has returned to the Baggies squad for their trip to Newcastle United.
The 34-year-old has been out since January after rupturing his cruciate ligament in a match against the relegated Queens Park Rangers and then suffered a hamstring injury in training last month.

The Hungary international has made two outings for the Baggies Under-21s side and could make his return to the first team against Alan Pardew’s Newcastle at St James’s Park.

The Magpies, meanwhile, have Mathieu Debuchy back in their starting XI following his suspension and will hoping to record their fourth win on the bounce after positive results against Chelsea, Tottenham and Norwich City.
