Tottenham Hotspur are weighing up a January move for impressive Shakhtar Donetsk winger Douglas Costa, SportsDirect News understands.
The 23-year-old has been in fine form for the Ukranian outfit this season, scoring 4 goals and providing 2 assists so far this campaign.

Although the Brazilian has been known to be inconsistent in the past, some fine form early in his career had previously attracted interest from Manchester United, and he could now be on his way to the Premier League as Spurs step up their interest.


A skillful dribbler with a ferocious long-range shot, Costa could be a useful addition for Andre Villas-Boas' side, who have not been convincing in attack so far this season.
Tottenham have been linked with several new signings upfront ahead of the January transfer window, but a winger in the Costa mould could also be a good option for the team due to the inconsistent displays of the likes of Erik Lamela, Nacer Chadli and Andros Townsend.
