Swansea: City had too much quality – Laudrup
The Welsh club came up against a City side full of confidence after their 6-0 thrashing of Tottenham Hotspur last weekend and the 2011-2012 Premier League champions continued their 100 per cent record at home this term.
Laudrup did not think his team played badly but realised the Manchester City side have too many ‘world-class’ players for his men.
He said: "Our tactics before the game were to try and keep the ball and we played a good first half but you could see some of their players need a split-second to turn game around.
"It's strange to lose 3-0 when we have done so many good things. That's the difference between having good players, like we have, and maybe the world-class players that play for them."
