Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City all won again as they reaffirmed their status as title favourites this season, while Manchester United were beaten at home.
The reigning champions look out of this season's title race as they sit in 9th place, 12 points behind leaders Arsenal, after losing against David Moyes' old side Everton.
Elsewhere, Luis Suarez was in superb form for Liverpool as he scored four in a 5-1 win over Norwich City, and Tottenham Hotspur recorded a late comeback against Fulham.
