Liverpool want Bayern ace on loan
Liverpool could make an offer to take out-of-favour Bayern Munich winger Xherdan Shaqiri on loan this January, it has emerged.
The Reds showed some interest in signing the talented Swiss international during the summer after he failed to make much of an impression in his first season with Bayern, and SportsDirect News understands they could move for him again when the transfer window re-opens.
Although Shaqiri was rated as one of the game's most talented youngsters whilst at former club Basel, he remains on the fringes of the first-team at the Allianz Arena due to some fierce competition for places at the club.
Arsenal have also been linked with the 22-year-old, as have several Serie A clubs, though Liverpool feel they may be likely to land the player if they make an offer to sign him on loan.
The Reds have been linked with several wingers in recent months, as manager Brendan Rodgers hopes to boost his attacking options in a bid to reach the top four this season.
Victor Moses was brought to the club on a season-long loan from Chelsea, though he has failed to secure a regular spot in the side.
